A message saying „Technical error“ may appear if:
The phone number
that you entered is either too long or too short. Try to go back in the process
and check to see if you entered a correct phone number.
The phone
number that you entered doesn’t have electronic mobile ID. You can log in to
mitt.audkenni.is and see under “Mínar síður” if you have active electronic mobile
ID on this phone number.
Incorrect
PIN number was entered, or the PIN is locked. If you suspect that you entered a
wrong PIN number, try to go back in the process and try again. If a wrong PIN
is entered more than four times the PIN is locked, and the mobile ID is ruined.
You can go to the next registration authority office and get new ones.
If the
electronic mobile ID was issued by another electronic mobile ID, or have been renewed, you cannot
finish the process. You can go to the next registration authority office, get new
mobile ID and finish the process by your self or have your app account
activated by them.
The mobile
ID is too new. You can not finish the signature process if the mobile ID is too
new. You can try again the next day as it should work then.
